NELLY KORDA: AN OUTSTANDING ATHLETE IN DEAUVILLE

All eyes will be on the American player. While her outstanding performances have made her a real star of the world Golf scene, Nelly Korda has actually been involved in top-level sports for as long as she can remember. Born into a family of athletes, she is the daughter of famous tennis player Petr Korda. Her siblings are also part of the world’s sporting elite: her older sister, Jessica Korda, is also a professional golfer (currently 34th in the world) and her younger brother Sebastian Korda, a professional tennis player (currently ranked 30th ATP world player).

On the course, her game impresses with its power, precision, and ability to manage key moments, making her an icon of her generation.

Former world No.1, Olympic champion, and winner of a Major (the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship in 2021), she will undoubtedly be the player with the biggest track record on the course and will definitely be the top favorite.

A REUNION WITH CÉLINE BOUTIER

On the Normandy greens, she will be rubbing shoulders with world No.11* and French No.1 Céline Boutier, one of her competitors throughout the year on the LPGA Tour, and whom she will face the week prior to the Lacoste Ladies Open de France, in the 2023 Solheim Cup. It was also Céline Boutier who was her runner-up when she won the Lacoste Ladies Open de France in 2019.

The presence of these two great players guarantees fans a battle worthy of the world’s greatest tournaments. All that in Normandy.
