Boulogne-Billancourt, 25th April 2024

FROM MAY 8 TO MAY 12, L’ÉTAPE DU TOUR DE FRANCE CONNECTÉE 2024 CELEBRATES WOMEN’S ACHIEVEMENTS IN SPORT ON STRAVA!

L’Étape du Tour de France connectée 2024 highlights women’s achievements in sports with a distance of 108.6 km this year, in honor of the 1 086 women who participated in L’Étape du Tour de France 2023!

Whether the point is to add the finishing touches to their preparation for the L’Étape du Tour de France 2024, which will take place between Nice and the Col de la Couillole on 7 July, to take on a long-distance challenge or simply to go out for a ride in the glorious spring weather, all cyclists are invited to sign up for the challenge of L’Étape du Tour de France connectée 2024, from 8 to 12 May. The bravest of the brave can tackle the 108.6 km challenge in one go, while the rest can break it up into more manageable bits.

As a bonus, finishers who register for the prize draw have a chance to win loads of prizes: a gift card for the Santini store, a Tissot watch, a postural study in an Alltricks store, race numbers for L’Étape by Tour de France in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Ireland… and the ultimate prize, the last race numbers for L’Étape du Tour de France 2024!

The challenge is open to cyclists over age 18 worldwide.

Registrations open from May 1st directly on Strava

Tailored training plans for optimal preparation

To take your preparation further, training plans over a period of 12 weeks before L’Étape du Tour de France have been developed in collaboration with the FFC (French Cycling Federation). The preparation is divided into 3 blocks, each focusing on a specific aspect: velocity, strength, and power.

Two adapted programs are available, ‘ the classic program’ training plan and ‘the Ladies, it’s your turn to play!’ training plan dedicated to women, taking into account menstrual cycles. Each plan has its own goal: ‘Finisher goal’ for those familiar with cycling or with limited time (3 outings per week), and ‘Chrono goal’ for those aiming for performance (5 outings per week).
