Keeping the promise to end AIDS, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted infections and tuberculosis in Eastern Europe and Central Asia

A high-level ministerial event hosted by the WHO Regional Office for Europe and the Federal German Ministry of Health, on the side-lines of AIDS2024 in Munich

TIME: 1300-1430 CEST

LOCATION: Hall B0A, Messe München, Munich Germany (capacity 500 pax, first come first served)

By 2030 the world is expected to end AIDS, the epidemics of viral hepatitis and sexually transmitted infections, and tuberculosis including its drug-resistant forms.

Recent technological advances and the recommended approaches provide an unprecedented opportunity to end these epidemics.

The rapidly changing geopolitical landscape and multiple overlapping crises, from conflicts to climate change, calls for a renewed commitment across the Region.

That’s why the WHO Regional Office for Europe in collaboration with the Federal Health Ministry of Germany are convening this in-person ministerial session on the side-lines of AIDS2024 in Munich, open to the media.

HIGH-LEVEL PANEL INCLUDES:
