Hi Maurizio,
We would love to arrange an interview with you and director/writer Ron Carlson along with stars Tom Arnold & Lucy DeVito to share how their upcoming off-beat comedy ALASK’CAR will have its world premiere at the iconic 33rd Annual Los Angeles IFS Film Festival on May 27th. They take home the top awards for “Best Director for a Short,” “Best Actor” (Tom Arnold), and “Best Supporting Actress” (Lucy DeVito).
We also have a new trailer being cut that can share to accompany your coverage.
In Alask’Car, an Alaska car dealership is at its financial breaking point, and the employees must sell all cars on the lot before the end of the month. This misfit cast of employees decides to rally to save the dealership. First, they decide to film a commercial, and conflict starts when Bronco, a feminist at heart, attempts to persuade the team not to have a bikini-clad woman in the commercial, while salesman Ron likes the idea of under-clothed women selling cars. To make matters worse, a dealer also includes a free SHOTGUN with every auto purchase this month. And then a TikTok video about all of this goes viral…
The legendary Film Festival is from May 24-June 1st will be held at the L.A. LIVE / Regal Cinemas in DTLA featuring nine days of Film Premieres, Parties, Ceremonies, & Events.
The IFS Film Festival has hosted premieres for the world’s greatest filmmakers, including Paul Thomas Anderson's Phantom Thread, & Inherent Vice, David Cronenberg's Map To The Stars, Harmony Korine's Spring Breakers, Lars von Trier's The House That Jack Built and Nymphomaniac (directors cut), Quentin Tarantino's The Hateful Eight, Tom Ford's Nocturnal Animals (starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal), James Franco’s The Disaster Artist, and Spike Lee's Blackkklansman (starring Adam Driver).
We look forward to arranging a hilarious interview with you and can be reached here at AGPR@AndersonGroupPR.com to schedule.
Thank you!
James & Kelsea
