Support: Reserve driver Kelvin van der Linde joins the team in Diriyah
In the simulator he already supported the team last year as well as in the preparation for the new season and now he is also at the race track: Kelvin van der Linde, who will also compete for ABT Sportsline in the DTM in 2024, spends the race days with ABT CUPRA in Diriyah. This is where he made his Formula E debut in 2023, standing in for injured regular driver Robin Frijns for three weekends.

Daniel Abt will once again support the commentary team of ServusTV (Austria) and DF1 (Germany) as an expert and co-commentator for the live broadcasts from Diriyah.
Offroad: Nico Müller and Lucas di Grassi in dune buggy for the first time
A new experience for the two circuit racing aces Nico Müller and Lucas di Grassi: Before the two races in Diriyah, the Formula E drivers tried out an off-road buggy just outside the city. It was a first for both of them, which was fun and left them wanting more.
Premiere: “Zero Summit” for the first time alongside Formula E in Diriyah
Initiated a few years ago by Lucas di Grassi, the Zero Summit now celebrates its premiere outside of Brazil. The congress with various panels is a popular platform for companies and organizations to exchange ideas about a sustainable future. Guests on stage in Diriyah included Formula E founder Alejandro Agag and former Formula E driver André Lotterer.
“One Republic” and “Backstreet Boys” perform for the fans
When the chequered flag drops, the action in Diriyah is far from over for the fans: Formula E has managed to secure two major acts for the post-event show: In addition to local bands, “One Republic” will perform on Friday night after the race and the “Backstreet Boys” on Saturday night – on the same gigantic stage where the trophies will be presented earlier.
