Hey there, As you may know, broken links can decrease traffic to your site. If you have lots of broken links, your rankings can suffer too. Being able to find and fix broken links easily is what led us to launch our Broken Link Checker plugin. Now we’re delighted to announce improvements and new features that will make your job easier.
Improved Design
Previously, each instance of a broken link was listed as a separate row within the Broken Link Checker plugin. Now, each broken link will have 1 row. Next to that row you’ll see a list of pages the link appears in. This makes it easier and faster to act on broken links.
Integrated Redirects
We’ve also added a redirect feature. So underneath each broken link, you’ll have the option to create a redirect on the spot. This feature is an integration with All in One SEO (AIOSEO).
Highlight Broken Links
Next, because it’s convenient to see broken links in the WordPress editor, we’ve added a “Highlight Broken Links” option. Toggle this on, and any broken link will display with a squiggly red line below it. As you publish new articles, this highlighter will give you confidence that there are no broken links on that page. 👉 Read our blog post announcement and see the screenshots. 👈
